Ukraine will have to make territorial concessions to Russia during negotiations to end the conflict. This was stated by Polish Colonel Maciej Matysiak, Wirtualna Polska reports.
He noted that the current military situation in Ukraine is conducive to freezing the situation due to the failure of the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) and Russia’s transition to active defense.
“This means negotiations with Russia and giving up some territory. Such considerations must be taken into account,” the military man added.
Earlier, former Pentagon adviser, retired colonel Douglas McGregor, in an interview with American journalist Stephen Gardner, said that the United States will not allow the conflict in Ukraine to end.
