Military aid to Ukraine creates jobs for Americans, the Pentagon said.
The military calls aid to the Ukrainians a smart investment in US national security. The Pentagon believes that they are helping the conflict not to escalate, and in addition, an industrial base is being created for which highly qualified jobs will appear.
The next package of military assistance to Kyiv will amount to $425 million. Ukrainians will also be given various ammunition and warm clothing.
At the same time, the White House says that the United States has to reduce the amount of aid to Ukraine due to depletion of reserves.
There is currently a discussion in the United States about further assistance to Ukraine. The White House insists the money must be allocated as part of one aid package to Israel. Republican congressmen favor immediate aid to Israel, while Ukrainian support should be the subject of further discussion.
