This is a unique and quite peculiar plant; they manage to not only boil and eat it raw, but also stew and fry. They fry and stew, mainly petioles and root vegetables. Its combination with other products is simply unique, since it is combined not only with vegetables, but also with meat and fish, as well as with cheeses and mushrooms.4
Cheese roll with celery
One of the chic and at the same time affordable dishes is a spicy cheese roll.
To prepare it, you will need the following products:
30 g butter;
1/2 kg of cabbage, preferably young;
1/4 part celery, again stalked;
an incomplete glass of cream, not very fatty;
a pinch of grated parmesan;
120 g of fresh cottage cheese and the same amount of cheese;
1/2 teaspoon white pepper;
1 teaspoon vegetable oil;
black pepper and salt – to taste.
Blanch the cabbage leaves for 5 minutes, then chop them quite finely, preferably in a blender. Fry the chopped cabbage a little in butter and cool.
Then put the cabbage in a bowl and add egg yolks, cream, grated cheese and white pepper. It is not recommended to add salt to this mixture, since the cheese is quite salty. Afterwards, beat the egg whites into a rich foam and carefully fold them into the resulting cabbage mixture.
Bake all this in a preheated oven, at a temperature of 200 degrees, after covering a baking sheet with parchment. The thickness of the cake is about 7 mm. After 12 minutes, remove and roll into a roll along with new parchment, after removing the old one, to do this you need to turn the layer over with the baked side onto clean parchment.
Grind the celery in a blender, add cottage cheese and cheese to this mixture, mix well.
Unroll the now cooled roll, remove the parchment and spread with the prepared filling, then roll it up again and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
